    Decimal places (2007)

    Loungers, I have the following simple formula =(Y28-U28)/BC13 with calculates to 2 decimal places - ie 4.15, However when I modify it to =(Y28-U28)/BC13&AK28 - (AK28 being "Hrs") I get 4.153333333333Hrs. I've tried using the Text() function but can't get it to show 4.15 Hrs.

    I'm sure that this is a simple fix - any thoughts would be appreciated

    Try
    <code>
    =TEXT((Y28-U28)/BC13,"0.00")&AK28
    </code>
    Or simply use
    <code>
    =(Y28-U28)/BC13
    </code>
    and set the number format to the custom format
    <code>
    0.00 "Hrs"
    </code>
    in the Number tab of Format | Cells...

    Thanks for the quick reply - I new that it would be a relatively simple fix - forgot all about the custom format option.
