    Password Reset on USB

I have a Linksys wireless router and a Linksys wireless USB adapter. I have encryption enabled on the router. I can push a button on the USB adapter and on the router to have them connect without having to enter the password.

I am assuming that this connection will be lost every time the power goes out to either the router or the computer is turned off. Is that correct? Would entering the password manually also result in it being lost when the PC was turned off?

    Ron,
I don't mean to sound like a smart- <img src=/w3timages/censored.gif alt=censored border=0> , but have you tried these various scenarios to see what happens? That would probably be the quickest way to ascertain the answers.
