    Page Numbering (Office 2007)

This new version of MS Office drives me nuts: so two questions for now: 1. What's the best way of upping my skills with this new version (I was using 2003, failry easily)? 2. I can't figure out how to page number so it says Page 5 of 12 (I can get it to say Page 5, but the "of 12 part eludes me.

    Thanks

I can't help you with your first question; for the second one, see Insert page numbers, in particular the section titled "Include Page or Page X of Y with the page number".

Thanks Hans: I see that MS Office Online Help is a lot better than hitting F1 help, from which I hadn't found that.

    The best,

(Edited by HansV to make URL clickable - see <!help=19>Help 19<!/help>)

I can help you with your first question, how to build your skills in Word 2007. Microsoft has a WONDERFUL help, an Excel spread sheet that shows where Word features were in version 2003 and where they are in Word 2007.

Thanks Charlotte: I'll give it a try. I also ended up with a free month of Lynda.com, and worked with both Word and Excel on that: not bad at all. I do feel that it will take months to get used to where things are, as the new system is less than intuitive!!
