    MAPI Spooler (A2000 SP-3)

Edited by HansV to correct typos in subject (spoller > spooler and Access 200 > 2000)

In trying to E-mail a snp file in Access, I have just started to getting an error message "The MAPI Spooler could not be started." I am using Eudora 7.1.0.9 as my default E-mail program. Am using Windows XP home edition. I have renamed the mapisp32.exe file mapisp32.old and the exe file was reinstalled. The problem presists. Any suggestions on how to correct the problem?

Does the problem persist after restarting your PC?

If so, does the problem occur while sending a single e-mail, or while sending a number of e-mails in quick succession?

The problem persists after re-starting the computer.

I have no problem E-mailing single or multible E-mails directly from Eudora. The problem only occurs when E-mailing from Access.

DoCmd.SendObject acSendReport, "rptSecurityDepositRefund", acFormatSNP, "asacorp@sc.rr.com", , , "Security Deposit Refund Report", "The Security Deposit Refund Report is attached as a snapshot file", True

Sorry, I can't find anything that would help. Have you tried temporarily setting Outlook or Outlook Express as default e-mail program, to see if that works better?

I tried setting to Outlook but it doesn't seem to get that far.
It pops up a window that says Choose Profile. The two choices are Corel 8 settings and Microsoft Outlook Internet settings.

Have you tried either of the two?

I don't have Eudora anymore, but my recollection is that you need to go in to the options within Eudora , and specifically turn on something that allows Eudora to accept requests from other programs.

It may be in the MAPI area of options.

Thanks for the suggestion. I have checked the Eudora options on the 2 computers, the one that works and the one that doesn't, and they are both set the same. I have been tied up on another project and haven't check on the Microsoft settings yet.
