    Word crashing (2003 SP2)

10 people all using 5 Addins which are downloaded from the server.
    7 are okay.
3 crash Word on two of the Addins (one has macros the other just autotext). I have recopied from the server manually - so they have the same files as everyone else. Still crashes. Removed Normal.dot. Still crashes. Word has been re-installed. Still crashes.

Okay - so I have now removed the addins that everyone else runs without any problem. Word comes up. However, some documents still cause Word to crash when Word opens. One was fine until they went to print it. Then it crashes.

    What else can I try?

If the suggestions in the article HansV suggested don't resolve the problem, my experience suggests that it might be worth removing & re-installing the printer drivers. Also, could it be one of the dlls referenced in your Add-In template that contains macros? If you are able to access the code, perhaps you could try adding/removing those, or even re-ordering them in the references list.

Thank you for your quick help. I've bookmarked Phil's article - but it seems to be the printer driver - thanks Archie. How many times have you asked "What's changed?" and received "Nothing" only to spot a new printer in the corner?
