FAX A REPORT USING VBA (ACCESS 2003 AND WINDOWS XP)

According to Microsoft it was possible to send a fax a report using the following syntax

    DoCmd.SendObject acSendReport,"Invoice",acFormatRTF, "[fax: " & [FaxNum] & "]", , , , , False

Tried this and it sent it to Outlook as an attachment BUT did not invoke Windows Fax Services.
It says in the article that the report Must be set up to use Windows Fax Service as it's named printer.

Did all this but it just doesn't deliver (you love MS help don't you) get an system administrator error.

Ok the article was for Access 2000.

    So is this possible?
    Anyone know?

There was an article in 2004 about this but it never gave a solution (at least never published one if there was one).

Does your PC have a fax modem connected to a standard phone line? You can't fax through broadband/cable.

    Yep.

It seems to go through the motions and then all just hangs in outlook.
Maybe it is something to do with the way that we have BOTH braodband and a standard Modem as backup as well.
Maybe it is defaulting to broadband and it should default to dial up.
I will have to look into it.

    Not sure.
