    Paste into Cell (Excel 2007)

Have say three lines of text, copy this, go to excel, paste. Each line is in a new row, not all in the same cell as required. Tried soft line breaks, different cell formats. Can get this to work if I go to cell, press space bar so cursor appears in cell, then paste. (Wrap is on)
How can I have the paste function put all text into cell in one action? <img src=/S/blush.gif border=0 alt=blush width=15 height=15> (I know - like I was used to in earlier versions)

As far as I know, Excel has always pasted to separate rows if there are multiple lines of text on the clipboard. If the lines contain tab characters, it'll also paste to separate columns.
Instead of pressing the space bar, you can press F2 to edit the cell contents.

Have you tried pasting into the formula bar of a cell?

This should add all the text into just that one cell
