Corrupt documents

Our very large documents 1500+ pages sometimes open with the "This document is corrupt" message. The documents have many different headers and footers. Anyone has any suggestions? Thanks.

    Re: Corrupt documents

Without specific version information, I can't provide a link... however, if you go to the Microsoft Knowledge Base and search for the exact phrase "Operating Parameter Limitations and Specifications" I would be more than willing to bet $$ you're hitting one or more limitations.

I don't mean to sound rude, but why 1500 page documents? Can't they be broken down by chapter(s) or something? Those that don't error out must take forever to load and the autobackups would drive me nuts!

    Hope this helps!

See the following and don't even think about trying to use Master Documents (seriously).
