I have a friend that is having problems with I.E. He can access his e-mail, the network, Yahoo chat, etc. etc. but when he clicks to open I.E, he gets the message that IE has encountered a problem and must close. I ran a reg cleaner, etc. etc. to no avail. Ideas anyone.

Are there any details about the error? If this is something new try a system restore.

It is something new, and I just went in and did a system restore and that seems to have worked.
