Office 2007 addin - SaveAsPDF&XPS

Ive installed the Office 2007 addin SaveAsPDFandXPS.exe.

    I've saved a Word2007 document as PDF.

The resulting PDF file is in black and white. no colour

Does anyone know if the 2007 add-in be in colour in a later patch?

The reason why I ask is obviously pictures, track changes etc display in black and white.

We will be migrating to office 2007 and in the process of doing an audit. We're currently using a PDF tool that generates PDF's in colours.

With the Office 2007 PDF add-in we may or maynot drop the PDF software

    many thanks

When I use the "save as .pdf" add-in, the resultant .pdf file matches the Word document - i.e. if there is colour in the document, there is identical colour in the .pdf file. You also say that "obviously pictures, track changes etc display in black and white." If I insert a colour picture in a Word document, it displays colour.

I suggest keeping some PDF software around for web browsers and other non-Office applications...

Is it possible that this document has the black and white option ticked under compatibility options? This is set at the very bottom of the Advanced panel of Word Options.

Yes the compatability was set within the document "Print colours as blackon noncolour printers"

once I unticked this option the PDF printed as colour.

    thank you
