    Interactive pie chart (2002/2003)

I do not know if this is possible or if PowerPoint is the right tool.

As part of a presentation our trainers would like to be able to change the color of sections of pie charts. The pie would be divided into quarters to start. The trainers would click on one or more of the quarters to change the color to indicate completion of the section. I thought that there were symbols for a pie with a cross, with one quarter black, half black and all black. I cannot find the symbols. I thought I could set the graphic/chart up to change when each of the quarters was clicked. Since I cannot find the symbols I cannot figure out how to set the presentation to change quadrants.

    Any ideas?

Use Draw > Autoshapes > More autoshapes to add four copies of "Pie" and adjust them to give the four quadrants. Give each an emphasis of change fill color triggered by a click on itself. Sample attached

    Thanks, John.

That is exactly what I was thinking about. I will check with those presenting to see if that will meet their criteria.
