A rounding problem (MS ACCESS 2007)

About rounding the amounts in a order we can
    a) round the amount fin each orderItem
    or
round the sum of all amounts ,thus for all orderitems at once

Which of both possibilities is the right one or is there no difference?

    2) At how much decimals do we have to Round amounts in Euro's?

I always round each order item, othewise the total may not match the sum of the items, and this would look odd to people.

Using Aust Dollars I round to 2 dec points. I don't know using Euros would make any difference to that.

I agree with John, round each item. I routinely round all currency fields to 2 digits. Especially important during data entry, where user might have accidentally hit an extra number but the screen doesn't show it because the display (not the data) is rounded.
