    NEO and Vista/Outlook (MSO 2003)

I'm not sure whether this is a Vista or Outlook issue...

I use Nelson Email Organizer with my Outlook.

Since I got it installed (on Vista) I keep getting a "'1037' macro error" when I try to run things like help.

Caelo (publisher) says it may be my macro security settings in Vista. Is it Vista, or Outlook, and where would I fix it?

    Regards,
    Chuck Billow

Macro security settings in Outlook 2003 are here: Tools > Macro > Security...

I'm not familiar with Vista-level settings that might affect your add-in. Perhaps COM Add-ins now need to be "signed" or otherwise authenticated before Vista will let code interact with them? The manufacturer really should be on top of that issue, if it is an issue.

Macro security settings are defined in Office applications, not in Windows Vista.
In Outlook, you can view the macro security settings in Tools | Macro | Security...
Medium is the recommended setting. You should also tick the check boxes "Trust all installed add-ins and templates" and "Trust access to Visual Basic Project" in the Trusted Sources tab.

But the cause of the problem might well be with Vista, I can't help you with that.
