    sorting (XP)

I know there's a way to "trick" Excel into letting you sort by more than 3 categories - keep the 1st 3 sorts intact - then sort by another 3 categories. Yes? How?

Yes, by starting your sort with the least important columns.
Say you want to sort on A, B, C, D, E (in that order). You start the sort on C, D, E. Then after that you sort on A., B, C.

    Re: sorting (XP)

It works great for the first 6 headers - then I need to sort by two more - then it screws it all up! What am I doing wrong?

Have attached the file I need to sort - D through K

    Thank you!
