    Opening explorer with folders pane showing (XP)

    is there a command line switch to open windows explorer with the Folders pane showing?

    Create a shortcut with a target like this:

    explorer.exe /e, C:

    The /e switch specifies that you want to start in Explorer mode (with a folders pane), and C: is the initial path (you can replace this with whatever path you want).
