    Hi all,

Is there a free software that will let you encrypt you hard dive with 1028bit encryption?

    Cheers,

    Re: Harddrive encryption

I've just spent a fair amount of time writing a BATch file which will back up assorted data from our servers to the 'spare' D: drives of our newer PCs. Each D: drive has a TrueCrypt volume (as a file) on it. You can use one, two or three encryption algorithms to secure the TrueCrypt data...

You can also use TrueCrypt to encrypt just some of your data, by creating a Virtual drive which can be mounted when you want to access the data and dismounted when not in use.
