    recover a closed Excel document (2003 SP2)

    Good afternoon

Our FD had several spreadsheets open and clicked on the 'X' thinking that he would only close 1 document but he has closed several and opted for don't save which has included an un named document that he was working on, does Excel 'autosave' and if so where would I look, I have tried the recycle bin

    Cheers

The Autorecover feature is supposed to delete the copies it makes when a workbook closes normally, but you could check the path specified in the Save tab in Tools-Options.
