Folder Permission (Server 2000)
Hi There, Not sure if this is possible or if there's a utility out there to make life alot easier here but here goes. We just recently migrated from a 2000 domain to an Active Directory domain model here. Now the problem we're having is with specific folder permissions. I'm finding all sorts of sub folders that no matter what I do or check off they will not inherit the parent folder permissions. Most of them have had the inherit checkmark removed through various other people touching the folders. Is there a way to start at the top level and strip all permissions and force inherit all parent permissions? I'm finding now that I either have to take ownership of the folder and then replace that way or have a seperate box active in the old domain in order to do each folder individually and this has proven to be quite time consuming to say the least.
