    Normal.dotm (Word 2007)

I have copied macros from my normal.dot from Word 2003 to my normal.dotm in Word 2007. The directory where Normal.dotm resides is not in the trusted places list. This list is grayed out and can not be changed. My macros worked for a while but as of yesterday they do not work. They can't be found by the program or are disabled. The Macro security setting is 'Disable' and can't be changed either. Does anyone have a clue whats going on?

Are you working on a corporate network? If so, the network admin may have disabled access to the security settings.

    Hans,

Yes they have. But the funny thing is they worked for a couple of days and now don't. Why isn't the directory containing the Normal.dotm in the list of safe places?

You should consult your IT department about this, they probably made a mistake. I don't think you or I can do anything about this.

Thanks very much. I sure like changes that go backwards instead of forward!
