    Showing Picture Information (XP)

When I use the My Computer screen to look at pictures on my memory card, it shows the date the picture was taken and the date it was last modified. Once I copy the pictures to my hard drive, I cannot get that information to show using the My Computer screen. Is there some way I can force that information to appear?

Under Tools > Folder Options View...
Do you have 'Show pop-up description for folder and desktop items' selected?

Make sure the properties of the folder is "Photo Album" or "Pictures" under the customize tab.

I don't know if it's what Leif or Dave said, Ronnie, but you can add to the title bar of any folder or folders by right-clicking where I have an arrow (empty space).

Al, You are correct that you can add these different columns. But when one uses the "Customized Properties" it adds all of them at once and remembers them. If one does NOT have the "Remember my settings" checked in the Windows Explorer options, then they will go away when you close Explorer.

By the way, these same settings are in Vista the same way.

I've just never noticed this menu before but it's great. I've got the picture information I want in those folders and figured out neat uses in other areas as well. Thanks.
