Word to clean XML with Macro (MS Word 2003, SP2)

    Hello,
I was wondering if anyone has taken a document in MS Word 2003 and saved it as an XML file. Next, using a Macro, remove all the Microsoft (MSO) type of code in the new XML file, so that the end result is pure XML or a closer form to pure XML. Could a Macro be created to filter out all the microsoft code, leaving only the styles that have been converted to elements?
Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

I don't think that is necessary, there is an option in Word 2003 when saving as xml to only include the xml data.
