Validation of cgi form

I need to validate a cgi form so that name and email address are mandatory.

I am unsure how to code this, any assistance would be appreciated.

I prefer to code my own forms rather that use websites that auto generate ones for you.

    Re: Validation of cgi form

You asked this question in the previous thread and an answer was suggested in <post:=711,234>post 711,234</post:> <img src=/S/shrug.gif border=0 alt=shrug width=39 height=15>

If you need assistance on validation you will need to supply us with the code you are working on as it is form and field specific

    Re: Validation of cgi form

HTML code moved to attachment by HansV because it was far too wide (and long)

    Try this!!!

Please note there were basic errors in your HTML code where a large amount of important tags were missing so this code is a
revised version of your original so you may want to compare. There was a massive amount of redundant nested font tags.

I noticed that the font sizes are different , is it possible to amend the font sizes so they are all verdana size 2, l tried but had no luck. I would like them to be the same size as the attached file.

Could you possibly send me amended file in html format as an attachment please.

    Re: Validation of cgi form

I looked at the file you sent. It has a number of full path references to local files like this. these won't work once you upload to a webserver.

All references to other files need to use relative paths.

Assuming the map is in the same folder as the html file that refers to it.
    Regards
    John
