    Combo Box list (2003)

    Hi,

I have a combo box on a form and the combo box's row source is a table call tblList. The tblList have two columns, one is ID and another one is Name. Now, combo box is only listing the value if user enters ID value. However, I would like the combo box list any data that includes whatever user enters either ID or name. For example, there's a data in tblList is 1112345 (ID); ABC(Name). If user either enter "12345" or "BC", this data will appears in combo box.

    Thanks in advance.

    Regards

Combo boxes don't work that way. If you want the user to be able to enter a name, hide the first column by setting the Column Widths property of the combo box to something like 0";1". But then the user won't be able to select an item by entering an ID.
