    Delete Duplicate Rows (2003)

I have a table with 1.5 million rows in it.

There are, unfortunately, some duplicates. (Entire record is duplicated)

I need to delete the duplicates.

I've tried selecting distinct records into a new table, but the size of the table causes an out of space error. The .mdb is 1.5 gig and only contains this table.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks!

Problem is that the maximum size for an Access database is 2 GB. You'd temporarily have the 1.5 GB old table plus a large new table (probably also > 1 GB), but that doesn't fit.
Try creating a blank new database, with a link to the table with duplicates, and run the query in the new database.

I've tried that, too. Same error.

Right now I'm trying exporting the data to a .txt file then re-importing but disallowing duplicates.
