Every time I try to convert a word document into a PDF file (I print to Adobe Acrobat 5 - Distiller), the conversion fails with a notice that Word has to shut down and will atttempt to recover the file. It does so, presenting me with a list of corrected errors, which is a list of every style. It also says that a table has become corrupted and needs to be manually repaired.

After accepting the corrections, and manually repairing the table and then saving the file, the next conversion to PDF produces the same result.

I've uninstalled and reinstalled Acrobat, and with MS help, found and deleted all versions of normal.dot but one. They also had me remove aware97 which is often a problem. No improvement.

Any ideas?
