Problems merging 2 certificates on one page (Word

I have 2 of the same certificates on one page. I am having problems merging data from an Excel file. I want the certificate on the bottom of the page to have a new record. It wants to repeat the same data entry on the same page.
I realize I can use one page and then print 2/1; however, this shrinks the text and applies a line border around the document.
How do I force the merge to place the next record on the second certificate on the same page.
    Thanks

Click in the beginning of the second certificate.
    Display the Mail Merge toolbar.
Click on the Insert Word Field dropdown on this toolbar.
Select "Next Record" from the dropdown list.

Thanks Hans for the quick reply.
In Word 2007, when I click on that, I only get a choice of the mail merge fields I am using. There is no other choice

In 2007, I found it under Rules.
However, after change it to <<New Record>> and them preview the letter, it totally removes the text and the second certificate's merge fields are missing.

I'm sorry, I don't have Word 2007 so I have no idea what's wrong. I hope that someone who has Office 2007 can help.
