Is SP3 installed (Windows XP Professional SP2)

How is SP3 installed? Is this service pack pushed by Microsoft as an automatic update? I have Automatic Updates turned on and get updates about once a week usually Tuesday. System Properties shows I am at SP2.

I receive notifications of updates and received one for SP3 about a month ago. But it won't be offered if Microsoft Update detects that your system would conflict with SP3. This is the case if you have Microsoft Dynamics Retail Management System.

Does your System Properties (right click My Computer - properties) show Service Pack 3? I have three systems an all show SP2. I do not have Microsoft Dynamics Retail Management System and am not sure what that is.

Mine does, but I installed it from the standalone installer, not windows update.

You can visit Microsoft Update too.

And yes, I do see SP3.
