import into access from .net (office 2003)

I currently have couple of forms in access with a button that triggers the import of files into an Access table using docmd.transfer and a saved spec. I want to trigger this event from a .net front end.

How do I go about doing this?

You can use Automation to start a (hidden) instance of Access, open the database and run Access VBA code. See WendellB’s tutorial Automation 101 for a general introduction to Automation and useful links.
