Table heading row repeat - but for 2nd row (2003 SP3)

The subject says it all. I'm trying to cause only the second row of a table to repeat on subsequent pages, but the Table menu option is greyed-out unless I select the top row, or the top two rows.

Is there any way to do this, other than by splitting off the current top row into a new one-row table?

    Thanks

That deals with the only option that I can think of. You can set the paragraph between the two tables to be hidden text.

    Hi Batcher,

You can't do that. A simple workaround, though, is to split the table between the 1st & 2nd rows, then make the 1st row of the 2nd table repeat. You can format the intervening paragraph to minimise its impact by eliminating any leading/trailing spaces and giving its font a 1pt size.

    Hi Batcher
You should note that Stuart has removed the bottom border from row 1. Failure to take this step will result in a heavy border at this point on page 1.
