    Large Pivot Tables (2007)

We are in the process of moving to Office 2007 as a corporation. I have a couple of large pivot tables that recalculate fine in 2003 (They will regenerate in bout 10 seconds or so). When I open the same file in Excel 2007 the file tables 45 minutes or longer to generate the pivot table. What can I do to improve the speed. (I have asked to stay on Office 2003 but the IT department won't let me.)

Have you saved the file in 2007 format? Is the data in the same file or coming from an external source?

It has been saved as a 2007 File. The data for this file is stored in the same file. Overall the speed of generating pivot table has gone down to almost a crawl.

Are you just refreshing the table or are you using code to process it?
