    broken reference (2002)

In an access database that i recently created I am now getting a message on startup that says that I have a broken reference that needs to be fixed. I followed the help screen and opened a module and went to the tools>references but I can not find "plugin.ocx" version 1.0 that I need to check.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks.

Select Tools | References... in the Visual Basic Editor.
Look at the references whose check boxes have been ticked (they are always at the top of the list).
Clear the check box for all references that start with MISSING:
    Click OK.

None of the checked boxes say missing.

I do not have any modules in the database. I created one to get to the tools list. Might that be the issue?

If there are no missing references it is not clear what the error message refers to, and I don't know what to suggest. If you wish, you can post a stripped down copy of your database, but I don't know if it'll be possible to find anything. See <post#=401925>post 401925</post#> for instructions.
