Making backups of workbooks (excel 2003 / vba)

    Hello again all.

Joey V here again. I need to know how to have my workbook automatically create a backup of itself.

    Here's the criteria i have.

Every sunday night at 02:00am I need the workbook (stretch info) to make a copy of itself within a different folder.

The path of said folder is:

    Q:/D926/F11701/SHARED/DEPTDATA/USO949/PROD/FORMS/MARY'S BACKUPS.

Can anybody show me how to do this. This one is new to me. Thanks.

I'd create a batch file with a single command line:

    COPY "C:OriginalFolderMyWorkbook.xls" "Q926F11701SHAREDDEPTDATAUSO949PROD/FORMSMARY'S BACKUPSMyWorkbook.xls"

where C:OriginalFolder is the location of the workbook, and create a scheduled task in Windows (Start | All Programs | Accessories | System Tools | Scheduled Tasks) that executes the batch file weekly at the specified date/time.
