Issue: attempt to archive a folder of about 316 folders, 2,600 files, total about 550MB, normal compression, retain folder structure, on extraction overwrite previous, use password, use wildcards. Files are on a windows XP sp2 machine.
The resulting archive (created on a flash drive) is about 300MB and no error messages on its creation.
On extraction to drive c: of a windows 2k machine, 77 error messages, either 'Invalid compressed data to inflate' of 'Bad CRC [mumbo jumbo]' and files concerned can't be extracted or opened individually.
Files concerned a mix of .doc., .xls, .pdf, .tif and more.
This is a new problem, last week or so, after having done same trick smoothly for several years.
Comments / suggestions, please?
