Time Calc's I need help with (Excel 2003)

    Hi,

I am trying to help a friend with their spreadsheet. The sheet involves working out a time when the target production will be complete. Please look at the sample attachment and see if you can help. I am not getting it right between the formula and the formatting.

    This is what I get. I get 9:19:59 (close to 9:20 <img src=/S/smile.gif border=0 alt=smile width=15 height=15> but I don;t know where you get 20:38...

Forget the 20:38. I think this is it. I'll have my friend verify it. Thanks Steve. I see it was a case of hh:mm:ss.

Just as explanation. F2 has the time (D2/C2 for hours). I divide it by 24 to convert to days (D2/C2/24) , since I use the excel format hh:mm:ss (excel works with dates and times in units of days).

G2 just adds the start time to the elapsed time (A2+F2) to give the time to finish (formatted as hh:mm:ss)
