    Power configuration (Vista)

    Dear Loungers,

On Windows XP, in order to get to the control where you could get the little battery on your taskbar, you would go to Start, click Run, type PowerCfg.cpl, and then click OK. Then click the Advanced tab and then click to select the Always show icon on the taskbar check box, and then click OK. Does anyone konw how to do this in Vista?

Right click the task bar and select Properties. Click on the Notification Area tab. There should be check box for Power.

If you have a laptop, I highly recommend the FREE Windows Vista Battery Saver, available HERE.
