    Visio Professional 2007 (Trial)

I've just installed the trial version, and every time I close the program I get the message: "Microsoft Office Visio has stopped working ...". Moreover, Kaspersky Internet Security comes up with "Executable file has been changed: DWWIN.EXE". Visio has fully updated itself, so it's not that. Any ideas?

Does visio stops working in Vista shed any light?

DWWin.exe is (part of) DrWatson, an error reporting tool from Microsoft that is part of Windows, it's not directly related to Visio.

Thanks very much for your help, Hans. Assuming it is a Bluetooth problem as suggested in the thread, I tried to uncheck the Bluetooth add-in, but just got the message: "The connected state of the Add-ins registered in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE cannot be changed" and the box would not uncheck. Also tried: Disable all Application add-ins: sucessfully disabled them, but problem still remained.

I'm afraid I have no other suggestions - I don't have Visio myself, and all relevant items I found in Google refer to the newsgroup post I mentioned.

Your help is much appreciated. I think the Bluetooth will prove to be the problem in the end so will keep pursuing it.

(Edited by HansV to make URL clickable - see <!help=19>Help 19<!/help>)

Thanks for all your help. I've finally cured it - your Googled thread was basically correct, but I didn't realise that under Vista you have to run the program as administrator to make the changes. In case anyone else hits this problem the Microsoft answer is as follows:
