    Forms in word (2000 /2007)

    <img src=/S/bash.gif border=0 alt=bash width=35 height=39>
    I have two computers, one with 2000 and the other 2007. I tried creating forms in 2007 first, but was having problems with the macros. So I decided to use the 2000. Everything seemed to work well until I sent the form to someone and they could not type in it. Am I missing something???? The other problem wast hat the lock is greyed out on a second form I was working on, and have not figured out how to unlock it. Any suggestions or assistance would be awesome!

    Without seeing the documents it's hard to guess what's wrong.

    Here is one doc. I was able to password protect the one, but only I can open and fill-in.

    This document has a mixture of controls from the Forms toolbar (which require the document to be protected for forms), controls from the Control Toolbox and underlines-to-fill-in (which require the document to be unprotected). This won't work in any version of Word.
    You should decide on a single strategy and use that consistently.
