Cannot resize a single control (2007)

    More bizarre behavior in Access 2007. <img src=/S/brickwall.gif border=0 alt=brickwall width=25 height=15>

I want to resize a single control (or a multiple selection of controls). I select the control and grab a resizing handle. As I try to resize this single control, Access resizes ALL controls on the form! (Well, not all controls, but all contiguous text boxes that happen to be the same size.) The same thing happens when I try to resize a single control by using the properties sheet (width property, for example). What is going on here?

This is Access 2007 being helpful!

Try this. In Design view, select all the controls, then on the Design tab of the ribbon, click "Remove".
This does not remove the controls from the form, it just removes them from the Layout.
    Regards
    John

Well, John, you have certainly been helpful! You fixed my problem! Thanks!

FWIW, I could not find Remove on the Design tab. It appeared under "Layout" on the context menu.

Sorry it is on the Arrange tab, not the Design tab.

I don't post from a machine with 2007. I have to remember what I did on the other machine.
    Regards
    John
