Anyone know what happened to phproxy?

Just been looking for an update to phproxy previously at http://www.whitefyre.com/poxy/ but although the domain still exists, there's nothing much there - except some funny faces where the forums used to be.

I'm trying to update my proxy site (the only proxy site I'll trust is my own!!) with a newer script to handle facebook, hotmail, all that stuff...

Does anyone know what happened to this script (which I thought was pretty useful). Or care to recommend a newer better substitute?

    tia, Marty

The URL you posted doesn't work (I get a 404 error).

Have you tried a Google search? There are many hits for phproxy.

That was my point exactly. Over on sourceforge http://sourceforge.net/projects/poxy/ the project seems to have closed:
    2007-01-20, PHProxy 0.5 beta 2 released!
2007-09-07, this project is no longer under active development.

Sadly the forums etc were all at the link in my original post, so they've disappeared. I would have liked to find an update as it was code that I trusted.

The only thing I would add is that I did my usual Whois on the primary domain to see that the domain has a long time to run before it expires and that it was registered out of United Arab Emirates.

    Domain Tools Lookup on: Whitefyre.com

If you "visit" the primary domain you get a black screen containing what's in this attachment (significantly reduced here).
