    Q & A database (Access97)

    I have a Q&A database - 1500 records.

Can this be converted or imported into MS Access 97 database?

    TIA

I don't think it can be converted directly. You probably will have to export the Q&A database into comma-delimited files, then import these into Access.

I have converted several Q & A databases to Access.
I first exported the data to a temporary file as "dbf" (DBase4) and then open your Access 97 database and import the "dbf" file. Its worked for me most of the time.

Thanks for the help. It didn't quite work for me. But from db4 I went to excel workbook. Even that would not be imported. BUT, I was able to then copy the data with about 8 copy/paste moves. This saved an immense amount of data entry. whew!

    Thanks for the help
