    # of Database Results to Display (Expression Web)

I have search pages that pull back information from a database located on the backside of my web. The search functions work great, however I would like to limit the number of records displayed on each page to around 100, and then added directional type buttons (<< >>) and page counts, at the bottom of the results page. Some pages return anywhere from 300 - 600+ results, which takes a view seconds to load, but really makes the pages quite lengthy.

I know the the DRW has the ability to "group" results by a pre-determined number. But I am wondering if there is a way to code the result # criteria (100) and add the directional functions and page counts at the bottom.

    Hi SmokeEater,

A good place to start is pagination but have a look at Customizing the Data View Web Part in FrontPage 2003

Lower down the page it goes through the workings, HTH
