    code help (excel 2003)

    hi all,

    i need help to reformat an extensive volume of data into different format. what i have and what i want are explained in the attachment.

    You state in A15 that "the coulmn g flag the well type, H for horizontal and V for verticalI". However, column G doesn't contain H and V, but Y and N.
    You state in A25 that "if column G value is Y and the number beside it reflects how many lateral the well has". I don't see a number beside it.

    hi Hans,

    what i meant if column G data is Y then it is H and if N then it is V. you are right it is column N for example the "H4-27521" means the well is horizontal based on the Y value in column G and the number 4 means it has four laterals and the figure 27521 is the sum of the total length lateral or column P. please also note the starting time represents the minimum completion date of a lateral for that well and the completion date represents the maximum completion date of a lateral for that well.

    Can you please modify the code you have developed before to include the sum of the "I" column data also as per the attachment.

    Try the version of the code in the attached text file.
    You must create the sheet named New before running the code.
