    Office 2007 search (Office 2007)

Is anyone aware of Agent Ransack? It would search for any content or file type. Well our company just upgraded to Office 2007 and Agent Ransack doesn't recognize .docx, xlsx, or .ptpx type files. Does anyone know of a piece of software that will search Office 2007 documents without opening them?

Apologies if this is a silly suggestion, since I am not familiar with Agent Ransack, but what about MIcrosoft's Windows Search? I'm sure it supports Office 2007.

I haven't heard of any. You may have to wait a bit - eventually search engines will no doubt add support for Office 2007 document formats.

Not a silly question. Windows Search does find what I'm looking for. I had to upgrade to 4.0 and allow it to index my hard drive though before it would.
