    Excel Graphing (2000)

Is it possible to use Excel Charts outside of Excel- perhaps as an ActveX object? I'm looking for a way to present graphs on a browser with dynamic data sources. I've not been too impressed with some of the ActiveX tools I've seen, and was wondering if the graphing in Excel was an ActiveX component which exposed some of its methods and properties?

    Hi Geoff,
There's the Office Chart object which I think is an ActiveX control but I've never used it and couldn't say if it's the same as or similar to an Excel chart.

    Re: Excel Graphing (2000)

I've found something which looks quite promising- the Chart Control under <A target="_blank" HREF=http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/odeopg/html/deovrworkingwithofficewebcomponents.asp>Office Web Components.</A> Has anybody had any experience with this?

It is for our intranet, running IE5.5, so no browser issues there.
