    Dot Leader Tab (Word 2007)

In Word 2003 to setup a Dot leader tab I went to Format | Tab to get the tab dialog box and setup the tab. How do i do that now in 2007? I know you can setup tabs using the ruler but not sure about dot leader???

    Thanks in advance...........

Re: Dot Leader Tab (Word 2007)

To use tab leaders highlight the list and go to the Paragraph group on the Home or Page Layout tab and click the arrow in the lower right and select the Tabs… button

    • Select the location of the tab that you want to precede with a tab leader and
    • Select the type of tab leader that you want.

In addition to redbeard42's suggestion, you can also set up tabs on the ruler just as in the 2003 version. Click on the ruler (at the appropriate position) to insert a tab and then double-click on that tab marker to open the tab dialogue window.
