Moving buttons & loss of drill downs (Excel 2007)

I was just upgraded from Excel 2003 to 2007. I am having several problems in a workbook created in 2003 with my pivot charts:

    (1) There is a button inserted which is attached to a macro. While the macro still works, the button does not stay where it is supposed to be, but migrates down and to the left so that it is on the chart. I have tried deleting the button, then recreating it in the proper location, but next time the workbook is opened, it has shifted onto the chart again.

    (2) The pivot chart was created along with a pivot table. in 2003, I could drill down by column or row in both the chart and the table. In 2007, this is still true for the table, but the drop downs in the chart are no longer present (or visible) so that the drill down capability is not there.

Any suggestions would be most appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Doug

As far as I know, you can't have the dropdowns on the chart anymore. For the button, which kind of button is it - Forms or ActiveX?

Excel 2007 has what is called the Pivot Chart filter pane, which should show as soon as you select the pivot chart. The chart filter dropdowns have moved to that pane.

    It's a Forms button.
