I've never tried to do this B4 - have pasted pictures into a word document and want to print it 24" wide by 12 inches tall on my large format printer - I've killed a whole forest - and I'm a tree-hugger!!!
Any suggestions?

If you pasted something into a Word document, shouldn't this question be in the Word forum instead of in the Excel forum?
Sorry - you are absolutely correct. I'll recitify that error immediately!
Moved to the Word forum.
The maximum size of a page in Word is 22" by 22". This is a hard limit, there's no way around it.
But whether you can actually print a 22" by 22" page depends on your printer and printer driver. Have you tried defining a custom page size?
Defined the scale to a 22 x 22 custom size - told the printer what size - 22" x 22" is fine - asked it to print both pages on one page of the large paper - it does what I ask but the pictures are REALLY REALLY SMALL.
I'm just going to put them all in some other software - thanks for the effort.
Have you tried printing these large images using the Windows print command?
I think all you need to do is make sure that the paper size is set up when the printer pane opens.
With Windows Explorer open right click one of the images and select print, then follow the Wizard.
Now running HP Pavilion a6528p, with Win7 64 Bit OS.
