None printing characters (XP 2000 Prof SP2)

It will be seen from the attached extract from a "Word" document downloaded from the web that there are 1,2,3,& 4 little None Printing circles, can someone please tell me how to delete them all using the "Find" & "Replace All" functions. I am familiar with how to delete the "Return" signs and Pilcrows but not these mentioned above.
    Regards S Fox.

It's a so-called non-breaking space. It's used to keep two words together on the same line.
To search for non-breaking spaces, enter
^s
in the Find What box.
