    IF statement problem (Excel 2000)

    I have a table of data basically in this type of column order... a number, the letter "s" or "L", then another column...in this last column I want an IF Statement saying that if the letter equals "s" then input the number, if not input -, and If the number column=0 input 0... how do i do this?

    Welcome to Woody's Lounge!

    Let's say the data are in columns A and B starting in row 2, and you want formulas in column C.
    Does the following formula in C2 do what you want?
    <code>
    =IF(B2="s",A2,"-")
    </code>
    You can fill this down as far as needed.
