    Limit of AutoFilter (2002)

Hi. A colleague has mentioned a limit of 1,000 rows when using AutoFilter. I've not heard of this before - has anyone? Perhaps she means a limitation that applies to a formula that applies to a filtered list? Thanks, Andy.

    Re: Limit of AutoFilter (2002)

The display in an autofilter list is limited to the frist 1000 entries. As a user I never would want to scroll through a list even 1000 items long and think that some kind of subfiltering would be needed for lists even with 100 entries.

That makes sense (.. as Excel nearly always does!). Ta, Andy.
